Abstract
The grievor probationary employee alleged that he was unjustly discharged for failure to reach the required standard in encoder training.
HELD: Grievance dismissed.
The standards of competence placed on the encoder trainees in general were reasonable and she did not meet those standards. Her training was "sufficient and adequate". She was not terminated "without just, reasonable and sufficient cause."
