Abstract
The grievance arose out of a misunderstanding about when the Grievor was to take some of his annual leave. The Employer refused to allow him to work on what the Employer alleged was his annual leave following three days of compensatory leave. The Employer's position was, that for the week in question, the Grievor's compensatory leave had been cancelled, but not his annual leave because there was no room left on the schedule.
