Abstract

Union grievance on behalf of all employees in Group 2 (External), alleging breach of the Collective Agreement between the parties bearing the date July 31, 1992, and in particular of Articles 39 and 47 in that there was not adequate union participation in looking at the number of part-time walks in a restructuring which is subject to grievance on another basis in a national forum. The Union "requested that full redress be given to any employees adversely affected by the decision in question and that the Employer be directed that part-time employees are to be used only for part- time operational requirements and that where ever practicable such position be combined in order to create full-time positions.
