Abstract
This is a supplementary award. The Union alleged breach of the collective agreement in that during the month of December 1993 the Employer restricted the amount of overtime offered to regular full-time employees to two hours. The collective agreement gives regular employees the right to overtime before casuals are hired, subject to an implied "reasonableness limitation". The Employer testified that extension of overtime beyond two hours was not cost effective and was therefore unreasonable. In addition, productivity diminishes after employees have worked for 10 hours.
