Abstract
These two grievances arise from the fact that the Grievor was four minutes late for work. After he learned that he was being disciplined for the lateness, the Grievor applied for special leave, which was denied. This was followed by a two day suspension. The Union objects on the basis of weather conditions and the Superintendent's failure to investigate the circumstances.
