Abstract

The Grievor is relief lead hand. He complains that he has been denied overtime opportunities in favour of the lead hand. The Employer's position is that the lead hand is used to carry out the monthly audit, and when this task requires overtime for completion, it is necessary for the lead hand to remain to complete it himself. The Union's position is that the tasks required are simple, and may readily be carried out by the Grievor.
