Abstract
The Grievors state that they were assigned to perform duties other than those they were scheduled to perform. This contravened their right to do the jobs in their section in rotation, as established in the Collective Agreement. The Union argues that it is the Employer's obligation to set up a program in which each employee has an opportunity to perform all duties of the complement. This is diminished if the Employer is free to disrupt the rotation rights of employees by assigning them to another section without regard to their wishes.
