About This Journal

Launched in 2026, the Technology Law & Policy Review provides an interdisciplinary forum for those interested in matters relating to technology law and policy. The primary focus of the review is on Canadian legal publications on law and technology. However, when relevant, international and interdisciplinary articles will be featured. The TLPR is housed in the Schulich Technology Law and Policy Centre (formerly the Law and Technology Institute) at Dalhousie University and has an editorial board exclusively composed of full-time university faculty.

The Review is published online and free of charge on the Schulich Law Scholars institutional repository. Schulich Law Scholars is an open access institutional repository for gathering, indexing, storing, and making widely available the scholarly output of the Schulich Law community. It is a service of the Sir James Dunn Law Library.

TLPR is seeking submissions on an ongoing basis and publishes two issues per year - spring and fall. However, in support of timely and rapid access to new scholarship, the Review follows the ‘online first’ strategy, where articles are posted on the website as soon as they are ready, before being assembled in an issue. Articles, notes, book reviews, and case comments are all welcome.
